The process Bi'wet

biwetprocess

Organic matter is regularly incorporated into the digester from a dedicated storage pit. Through controlled agitation and heating at mesophilic or thermophilic temperature, the anaerobic digestion process is activated, thus promoting the production of biogas. This biogas is then stored in a double membrane gasometer.

The biogas is treated and sent to the cogenerator designed from a MAN® block to produce both electricity and thermal energy. At the end of the residence time, the digestate is sent to a recovery pit.
